Aha!

What a joy to know that there are others..phew!!
My friends have looked at me like I am crazy when I tell them of this very restless, annoying feeling in my legs that does not let me sleep!!
I have a few suggestions of things that have helped over the years:

Roll it out with a rolling pin,

Kick it out, one two, one two, until it is gone. (this can take from 10 minutes to 2 hours)

Take really long walks at night.

Go crazy on the stairmaster until you can go no more.

Have it excorsized out (yes I did this) and I was told that in a past life I was bitten by a snake that was still holding on. He got it. The legs have been much much better. Still get it once in a while now.

New development: body shock syndrome...my whole bod will go into an electical spasm at random times, usually when stimulated sexually, psychadelically, or spiritually, go figure. Anyone else? Will I have to start the Electrical Spastics Tribe?

Cheers and Peace to the legz of all you fine peeps..

thats funny what you said about telling your friends about it. it is damn near impossible to properly describe RLS to someone who has never had it.

what i usually end up saying is "it is as annoying as a baad case of poison oak that you can't scratch".

that about sums up the net result of it . . . .

also, a new trick that does work very well is to use a tens or e-stim unit. It is that device used in physical therapy that sends pulsing electrical current through your body via sticky pads. crank that baby up, and it works quite well . . .

I'll have to try that! What I have is a 64 year old qwack medical device called an Electreat. Up till now I used it as a sensation toy for kinky play but it might turn out to have a legit medical use after all.

        Thanks
